We know that you also appreciate quiet moments, so there are seats dotted around the grounds where you can take your book or a glass of wine and relax. Some guests ask nothing more than to chill-out, lounge by the pool, stroll around the extensive grounds, listen to the birds and the wind in the trees; others love to get out and about, find out about the area and take part in the many activities on offer.

Sample Week

Sunday Drive to Sierra de Baza, visit information centre, coffee, walk in the mountains, lunch in the attractive restaurant with beautiful view
Monday Walk or mountain bike in the rolling farmland around Finca Lucia, ending at the fabulous Al Jatib cave restaurant. When the weather is right, we enjoy a moonlit walk home!
Tuesday Visit the historic city of Granada, including the magnificent Alhambra, the gardens and the old moorish quarter
Wednesday Free day to relax by the pool or maybe visit the bustling Baza market
Thursday Stroll by the azure waters of Lake Negratin, or kayak on its still waters. Lunch in a lakeside restaurant enjoying the magnificent view. Afterwards maybe a refreshing dip in the lake or “take the waters” in the thermal baths
Friday Visit the hilltop village of Campocamara. Taste wine in the bodega and walk by the lake. Horse riding option. Evening walk to a barbecue at a nearby cave house.

Fiestas and Flamenco
Fiestas abound, and whenever one is on we will visit!
