Finca Lucia

Peace and Tranquility in Traditional Andalucia

Wildlife & Flora

The Sierra de Baza and the Altiplano provide a unique habitat that is home to many rare birds and animals as well as plants and flowers. There are nearly 100 different flower types found only in the Iberian peninsula. It is home to golden and imperial eagles, vultures and falcons and has one of the largest colonies of griffon vultures. Watching them glide past you at eye level on the slopes above Lake Negratin is an unforgettable experience.

The Sierra de Cazorla is the only natural home of the Cazorla Violet, and many other rare species can be seen here and the other natural parks nearby.
